Recipe Spain

On 16th - 20th we had a Spanish week in our school. The week started on Monday morning when all classes met together to sing Comsong and answer some tricky:-) questions about Spain  on purpose to discover what our pupils already know about  partner coutry. During the week  we did lots of activities to learn more about Spain.  2nd and the 4th class were cooking both Spanish recipes, 1st class "travelled" to Altamira and drew beautiful cave paintings, 2nd class prepared a very nice test about Spain, 3rd class focused on Spanish culture, 4th class looked in Spanish painters and made  paintings like  MirĂ³, Picasso,.... and the 5th class prepared  again a little magazine now about Spain. For the whole week we were wearing Spanish colours which was a big fun. On Friday we all met  together again to share the results of activities of all classes. So we could see a bit of corrida, flamenco, test our knowledge of Spain, watch paintings and presentations and  the most important to taste Gaspacho and Migas. These recipes were vittle bit unusual for us, because we normally do not eat cold soup and fruit as accompaniment.is also not so common  But we really liked your recipes and all the children enjoyed the cooking much.
